Mumbai, July 10 (IANS) Actress Gautami Kapoor has come out in strong support of her husband Ram Kapoor amid the controversies surrounding his stint on ‘Lock Upp Season 2’.
Sharing a series of posts on her social media account, Gautami made it clear that online criticism does not bother her and in fact when on to applaud Ram for speaking his mind.
Re-sharing a fan edit featuring Ram and fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde, Gautami wrote, “Trollers can troll. Haters can hate. Don’t really care! @iamramkapoor finally speaks. Love you always.”
In another social media post, she shared a collage of Ram from the reality show with the message, “@iamramkapoor Call out the bullies! You can!” She added another note reading, “We hear you!”
Her posts in defence of her husband come at a time when Ram has been at the centre of quite a few heated moments inside the Lock Upp Season 2 house.
Ram recently also grabbed attention after a heated exchange with host Farah Khan during a task, which further fuelled discussions on social media, and also for subtly justifying infidelity.
Talking about Ram and Gautami, the couple first met on the sets of the television show ‘Ghar Ek Mandir’ and tied the knot on February 14, 2003.
On the professional front, Ram Kapoor has been a part of the industry for more than two decades.
His character portrayal as Mr. Walia in Kasam Se and Mr. Kapoor in Bade Ache Lagte Hai have been considered to be one of the most iconic characters ever on Indian TV.
