Shivamogga: Minister for Scheduled Tribes Welfare T Raghumurthy on Saturday urged farmers to embrace modern technology and scientific farming practices to improve productivity and tackle drought-related challenges. He also called on youngsters to develop a greater interest in agriculture.
Speaking at the Agriculture and Horticulture Fair-2026 at the Agriculture College in Navule, the minister said technology-based farming and efficient water management were essential amid changing weather patterns and rainfall deficits.
