Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has thanked his Karnataka counterpart D K Shivakumar and the people of Karnataka for extending assistance to the state following the impact of Cyclone Murasu.
In a statement, Naidu expressed gratitude for Karnataka’s timely support, saying the assistance extended during the crisis would not be forgotten.

Karnataka has decided to deploy 500 skilled electricity workers, along with equipment, to help restore power supply in cyclone-hit Andhra Pradesh. The move follows a request from the neighbouring state after Cyclone Arnab uprooted more than 15,000 electricity poles, disrupting power infrastructure. Karnataka has also assured Andhra Pradesh of further assistance if required.
