Islamabad: A roadside explosion in Pakistan resulted in the tragic loss of seven lives. The incident occurred late on Monday night when a vehicle belonging to the chairman of a union council was struck by a roadside bomb. The group of individuals in the vehicle were returning from a wedding ceremony in the Panjgur district of the province. Deputy Commissioner of Panjgur, Amjad Somro, provided details of the incident to local media.
According to the police, the bomb was triggered remotely, causing significant damage to the vehicle in the explosion. Authorities have subsequently cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation in an effort to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
As of now, no specific group or individual has claimed responsibility for the unfortunate incident. The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances and motives behind the roadside blast.
