
Rajinikanth’s action-packed film “Jailer” has continued its successful run, accumulating an impressive total earning of ₹109 crore. The movie’s performance has been outstanding, with a significant surge in collections observed on Saturday. Early estimates suggest that the film garnered ₹35 crore nett across all languages, contributing to its remarkable financial success.
The movie had already demonstrated its potential by earning ₹48.35 crore nett on its opening day and following it up with ₹25.75 crore nett on Friday. With this consistent momentum, “Jailer” effortlessly entered the coveted ₹100 crore club within just three days.
The cumulative box office collection of “Jailer” has now reached approximately ₹109 crore nett in India across all languages, as reported. The Tamil film has been effectively dubbed in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, broadening its reach and appeal.
Under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar, the Tamil film displayed impressive occupancy rates on Saturday. Chennai witnessed a remarkable 92.7 percent occupancy, while the NCR region recorded 90.5 percent. The Telugu version of the film maintained a strong overall occupancy rate of 78.87 percent.
The film’s success isn’t limited to India; it is also making waves in the US market. Industry analyst Ramesh Bala shared that as of Saturday, August 12th, “Jailer” had already surpassed $900K in the US. With the pace it’s going, there’s potential for the movie to cross the $1 million mark soon.
