Luknow: A remarkable book chronicling the life of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, titled “Ajay to Yogi Adityanath,” has made history with a total of 67 launches, including a recent event in Bengaluru. This achievement has secured its place in the Asia Book of Records, recognizing it for achieving the highest number of launches for a single publication.
The book’s extensive launch tour has seen it introduced at various locations, with plans for even more launches in the pipeline. Authored by Shantanu Gupta, a renowned writer with two bestselling novels to his name, this literary work offers readers a compelling account of Yogi Adityanath’s journey, spanning from his early days of struggle to his prominent role in public life.
Shantanu Gupta’s latest literary endeavor, a graphic novel delving into the life of Yogi Adityanath, has already been unveiled in eight states across India, including UP, Delhi, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Assam. Within Uttar Pradesh alone, this novel has made its presence known in 29 different locations, while also being introduced in seven locations within the National Capital Region (NCR).
An auspicious inaugural event marked the simultaneous release of the book on June 5, 2023, coinciding with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s 51st birthday. This event unfolded across more than 51 venues spanning 25 districts in Uttar Pradesh, underscoring the book’s significance and reach.
“Ajay to Yogi Adityanath” narrates the inspiring journey of Ajay Singh Bisht, a young boy born in the hinterlands of Uttarakhand, one of seven siblings. His father, Anand Singh Bisht, served as a junior forest officer, while his mother, Savitri Devi, dedicated herself to homemaking. From his early years, Ajay displayed a deep affection for his family and cattle, absorbed stories of freedom fighters, and actively engaged in school debates. Their humble abode was situated in the remote village of Panchur, now in Uttarakhand, providing the backdrop to his remarkable transformation into Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
