Apple is gearing up for a highly anticipated mega launch event on September 12, during which it will introduce its new iPhone 15 series. Branded as the “Wonderlust” event, the live unveiling will occur at Apple Park. The invitation provides a glimpse of the Apple logo in shades of grey, blue, and black, potentially hinting at the color options available for the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.
Rumors suggest that specific models within the iPhone 15 series will support charging speeds of up to 35W, resulting in significantly faster charging times. In comparison, the existing iPhone 14 Pro currently supports 27W charging, while the standard iPhone 14 offers 20W charging.
Insider reports point to some of the forthcoming iPhone 15 models offering enhanced charging capabilities, aligning with predictions from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo speculated that Apple might transition from the Lightning connector to USB-C in 2023, enabling improved charging speeds for iPhone 15 Pro models.
The iPhone 15 series is anticipated to showcase a fresh design with subtle curved edges, a larger camera bump, and slimmer display bezels. Among the notable features for the Pro models are the introduction of an Action Button in lieu of the Mute/Ring Switch, the integration of the A17 Bionic chip, a novel titanium frame, and upgraded cameras, including a periscope lens for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Notably, the event is also expected to introduce new iterations of the Apple Watch. Reportedly, the Series 9 smartwatches will sport 41- and 45-millimeter screens, alongside a fresh version of the Apple Watch Ultra. Enthusiasts and tech aficionados are eagerly awaiting Apple’s revelations at this event.
