Hyderabad: In a devastating turn of events, six lives, including five members of a single family, were lost in two separate road accidents in Telangana’s Nalgonda district.
The unfortunate sequence began with a vehicle, en route to the first accident site, colliding with an oil tanker early Monday, resulting in three fatalities and leaving three others in critical condition.
The initial accident occurred near Vempahad in Nidamanoor mandal on Sunday night when Keshavulu (28), riding a motorbike from Peddapur to Miryalaguda, collided with pedestrian Saidulu (55), claiming both their lives. In response to this tragedy, seven members of Keshavulu’s family rushed to the accident site in a Tata Ace vehicle on Monday.
Regrettably, another disaster befell the family as their vehicle collided with an oil tanker, merely half-a-kilometer from where Keshavulu had lost his life. Three individuals perished instantly, and a fourth succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The deceased were identified as Ramavat Ganaiah (40), Pandiah (40), Bujji (38), and Nagaraju (28). Three additional family members sustained injuries and were promptly transported to Miryalguda Area Hospital.
