
Moscow: Typhoon Khanun has brought significant flooding to Russia, causing substantial damage to homes and infrastructure. According to reports from Russia’s TASS news agency, the number of homes that have been flooded has reached 4,368. Additionally, 5,654 adjoining plots of land and 7 apartment buildings have also been affected by the flooding.
As a result of the flooding, 28 settlements have become isolated due to the impassable conditions. The areas most severely impacted include the cities of Ussuriysk and Spassk-Dalny, as well as the Oktyabrsky municipal district in the Primorye region. This region encompasses Vladivostok, an important port and the administrative center.
The flooding has resulted in significant disruptions and challenges for the affected communities, requiring emergency responses and support for those affected by the natural disaster.
