Lucknow: The Yogi government plans to establish additional guest houses in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Bengaluru, according to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The urgency for guest houses is particularly felt in Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Bengaluru, and the identification of suitable land for these accommodations is underway.
Despite Delhi already having three state guest houses, namely UP Bhawan, UP Sadan, and the new ‘Indraprastha’ guest house in Dwarka, there is a growing need for yet another facility to cater to guests visiting the national capital. Sector 148 in Noida has been identified as a suitable location for this purpose.
Additionally, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to expedite the completion of the ‘Gomti’ guest house, which is currently under construction and situated on Lucknow’s Vikramaditya Marg, close to the Chief Minister’s residence.
To ensure high-level services in these guest houses, the Chief Minister emphasizes the involvement of field experts and the deployment of qualified and skilled youth from the hospitality sector through outsourcing. Regular employees will also be assigned based on their qualifications, efficiency, and work behavior.
Furthermore, the government will adhere strictly to protocols for guests such as Governors, judges, foreign dignitaries, and other special visitors, and they will be provided with new vehicles.
When it comes to residences and guest houses for Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasizes the need for proper security and adequate facilities.
The Chief Minister’s vision is to create a pleasant experience for visitors at all UP state guest houses, encompassing hospitality, food, and room service. Moreover, safety measures, including the installation of CCTV and fire safety equipment, will be put in place, and standard facilities will be available in all MLA residences.
